Hi, I’m Brittany the traveler, photographer, history lover, and curious explorer behind The Travel Nut.
I’ve always been drawn to places that have a story to tell. Whether it’s an ancient ruin, a forgotten cemetery, a centuries-old building, a quiet coastal road, or a little bookstore tucked away on a side street, I’m fascinated by the history and stories that make a place special.
Photography has become my way of slowing down long enough to really notice those places. I love capturing the details that might otherwise be overlooked—the weathered stone, the changing light, the old architecture, the landscape, and sometimes the wonderfully strange things you stumble across when you take the road less traveled.
My love of travel has taken me to places like Scotland, Greece, and Italy, and I’m always looking toward the next adventure. I’m especially drawn to mountains, water, cooler weather, historic places, and destinations that feel a little different from the ordinary tourist path.
But The Travel Nut isn’t just about where I go. It’s about the stories I find along the way.
